Kim Taehyung, mostly known as ‘V’, is one of the members of the popular boy band Bangtan Boys(BTS). He is widely recognized for his cute looks and fashion style. Kim is also a record producer and vocalist for BTS.

Kim Taehyung was born on December 30th, 1995, to a family of farmers in the Seo District of Daegu, South Korea. He had a troublesome childhood and struggled a lot because his parents were poor. However, Kim says that his parents and especially his dad is the reason behind his success. He currently lives in Seoul with his siblings. Kim’s younger brother is named Kim Jeong and he has a sister named Kim Eon Jin. He attended Korean Arts High School with Jimin and he is a graduate of Global Cyber University. Kim completed his high school in 2014.

Kim Taehyung always wanted to be a singer since very a young age. He began his career as a singer when he joined BTS on June 13, 2013. He first uploaded a remix of “Old School Love ft. Ed Sheeran” with Jimmin on Soundcloud after completing his graduation. His first track with BTS was titled ‘ No More Dream’.
